Qualifying Events Benefit elections are generally irrevocable, unless you have a qualifying event. Examples of qualifying events include: • Marriage or divorce; • Birth, adoption or placement for adoption of a child; • Employment change or loss of other group health insurance; • Eligibility You have 30 days to make your election change from the date of the qualifying event. IMPORTANT: If you go past the 30-day election window, you must wait until the next Open Enrollment period to make changes
